Just popping in on a borrowed computer to let y'all know I'm still alive. I have to wait till Duller's monthly payday to get mine de-trojanized.
Meanwhile, I signed up for a free trial at ancestry.com. I've found quite a bit of useful information already, but I'm going crazy over one family line. The dates keep changing. The one married couples' headstones have dates that make sense. BUT, about half the sources I've found, some which just repeat the others, have completely different dates. Those dates have them as parents at the age of 5. I figgered the headstone info was correct. Then I scanned the 1900 census... it has the nonsense dates. ARGH! Soooo, if I make it back, I can not vouch for any sanity in any post henceforth.
OK, the computer owner would like to use it. (Such noive!)
