Best laid plans

Isn't it funny (yeah, ha-ha) how God slows us down when we start taking on too much?

I'm actually glad Duller is out of town today and tomorrow. (He's such a hypochondriac). I woke up this morning looking like a chipmunk with a grapefruit tucked in her cheek. Yes, the gum infection has pulled a phoenix. Normally, I'd just sip some echinacea tea, but this calls for desperate measures. So, much as I hated doing it, I pulled out the doxycycline and am happy to see that, oh so very gradually, the swelling is reducing.

Meanwhile, even though I'm perfectly capable of getting out there and going on with the day I'd planned spending at the refuge, I've decided to just rest. Theoretically, this will let my body's energy concentrate on fighting the intruders. And it's letting me catch up a little with a few bloggy friends who have all but given up on me. I'm mostly reading for now... I'll try taking on comments this evening. Now, if I can just convince Duller we NEED broadband at home, maybe I won't keep getting so far behind to start with. 8-}

Y'all have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

Hmmm that infection sounds like a load of laughs! Ugh! Just sit and relax my friend. Even thought it's hard for us types to do!
Big hugs.

About Me

My photo
I love JESUS! I'm a 7th-generation Florida native, dyed-in-the-wool Southron belle. I just recently dusted off my genealogy notes and, thanks to a long-lost relative, nearly doubled the details. We started home schooling when only 'outlaws' did it and still enjoy a daily quest for knowledge. These days, the family spends a lot of time birding, butterflying, spending as much time in 'the woods' as possible while they're still here.
