Church doesn't suit you?

Lately, I've been seeing some paid ads from a group called 'Catholics for Choice' One says, 'A large majority of Catholics disagree with the Vatican on matters of sex and sexuality.' So, my first question is, 'why are you still Catholics?' This is just one more example of the alarming degradation of our 'it's all about me' society. Where on earth did people get the idea that the church - any church - should conform to suit its members? Here's how it works: Different denominations have different tenets. You choose the one that you believe has the right tenets. If you find that you disagree with your church's tenets, you find another church. You don't demand that the church alter its beliefs to make you happy. I'm not a Catholic, not have I ever been one. I don't agree with all their tenets. Therefore, I am not going to convert to Catholicism and demand that they tear down their system and rebuild it according to my own personal blueprint. I have known a few Catholics and former Catholics and I realize that, for some, being 'Catholic' is akin to being Caucasian (or whatever). It's what they ARE.
Idano... I'm kinda at a loss for words at this point. Appalled at the very notion that any Catholic - much less NUNS! - would so eagerly embrace this death culture. Just as stupefied that they would challenge the Pope and fully expect their rebellion to go unnoticed. Admittedly, I know very little about the inner workings there, but I would think it's time for a mass excommunication.

Full disclosure: I is Catholic, of that very type ya' mentioned; "it's what they are". I note how some folks say "we go to the ABC church" but Catholics is prone to say, "I'se Catholic." It ain't about goin' fer us, but about bein'.
Anyhoo--on the idiocy of those nuns--first, they ain't nuns--nuns are cloistered. These heah is Sisters--they belong to religious orders that do work out in the world: run orphanages, soup kitchens, nursing, education, etc.
This gaggle of Sisters done sold they souls to the prevailin' kulchure--they's tryin' to be relevant to "the poor."
If ever thar's a time fer "the poor" to git the truth it is now--they doan need "relevancy."
The Catholic Church doan have no dungeons. She cain't toss these geese into a brig an lose the key, more's the pity. What she does do is sanction them by lettin' faithful Catholics know these women is off the reservation--but the media will never print that.
Christ suffered from the foolishness of His own, an so do the Church.
